FOUR HUNDRED YEARS OF OPPRESSION ENDS HERE!
Running Dog Levenstein's great-great-great grandfather was an esteemed Shaman in the Yangna Nation. His great-great-great granduncle was scalped by Russian trappers in the San Fernando Valley of California. Like so many Native Americans, Running Dog's blood is mixed -- in his case, with that of the tribes of Israel. But his Yangna ancestors are the ones he embraces as his birthright because he feels the eagle soar in his blood. His heritage is long and proud.
A VOTE FOR RUNNING DOG
IS A VOTE FOR FREEDOM!
Now he wants to bring that pride to the Cliff College Native American Student Union. He has worked tirelessly for NASU since he was a freshman. Last year he organized the videotape library and successfully lobbied the college administration for funds to buy the Time-Life series on Native Americans.
This year, he has aimed his bow at bigger game. Running Dog wants to reclaim the land beneath Sayers Hall as the ancient burial ground that it is. And with your help, he will!
Vote next Tuesday!
